Rain has made another move towards the international platform and becoming a worldwide renown artiste by representing the high-end luxurious automobile brand, BMW. Next month, he will be filming the publicity MV "BMW Meets Truth".

According to BMW Korea, Rain"s image is very close to the automobile"s branding, and that"s the reason why they have invited him to be in their publicity MV this time. Leading person in JYPE, JY Park, will be the music director of this MV, and directing the screens is famous director Pak Seong Min who has filmed casual clothes CFs for other big-shot artistes such as Jang Dong Gun, Jung Ji Hyun, Jung Woo Sung.

Secretive about CF Fee.
The issue which observers are most concerned about in Rain"s endorsement for BMW is the endorsement fee he is getting. BMW Korea expressed, "We can"t reveal the amount Rain is getting for this endorsement, but we guarantee it is absolutely the highest in the market." If Rain"s CF fees in the past have been a billion won, observers estimate that the fees he"s getting this time is about 1.5 billion won.

Rain"s debut movie "I"m a Cyborg but it"s OK" has concluded a few days ago (Rayndrop: Actually, it is still going on until 10 Aug...), and he has returned to the singing industry opening new grounds for himself. This is especially with regards to the Japanese single he is releasing on 9th Sept, his 4th Korean album he is releasing in October and the prep work for his Asia Concert Tour at the end of the year.

Expression of his Singing and Dancing Skills
There will be a press conference on 3rd August for this BMW MV which Rain is appearing in. The MV is as exciting as a short film. Other than his acting skills, Rain will be showing off his singing and dancing skills in this MV.

Asian Top Star RAIN is counting down to enter the major advertisement (or CFs)industry in USA!

Recently, Rain received a "love call" from a famous American company, to be the model for their electronic products. The related personnels have met each other for discussion. The details and contract conditions (whether Rain will agree) shall be finalised during Rain"s latest visit to US.

JYPE spokesman said, "Further negotiation between us and the company was done in this trip. The person in charge is highly interested in Rain, so we believe that good news is coming soon..."

Rain was selected as "The 100 most influential people in 2006" by TIME magazine, which dragged the world"s attention to this young Korean artist. ABC Channel also described Rain as "An artist who is able to connect Eastern and Western pop cultures" and showed their interest in him. Thus, more and more American advertisement/CFs may look for Rain since the local society starts to concern about him.

Korean artists who are active in US, such as actor Jin Yunzhen (pinyin), singer He Lixiu (pinyin) had signed up for cosmetic CFs in US. If Rain signs this contract, he will be the 1st Korean artist that becomes model for branded electronic products. Also, the advertisement/CFs can be a strong stepping stone for Rain to enter US market in the future.

"The CF contract is not yet confirmed, so we can"t tell more details at the moment," said JYPE. "However, this BIG commercial company shows their great interest in Rain.. They express their high expectation to Rain"s development in US... which is quite encouraging for us..."

Rain will release his 3rd Japanese single on 9th Sept and his 4th Korean album in October.

Many other songwriters are involved other than producer JY Park.
Many changes have been made in this fourth album that is about to be released, in terms of music style as well as image sculpting. Other than a strong accent of the beauty of musculinity, there are also parts where the beauty of neutrality is portrayed.

Rain"s dance is the definite weapon
Rain has planned to emphasize on his dance in his fourth album. He has been planning for the activities of this 4th album for more than a year, and he is confident of bringing new surprising dance moves to the audiences.

Rain is currently busy with the filming of "I"m a Cyborg but it"s OK". Once the filming ends, he will be learning modren dance, which will make his body more flexible. This is closely linked to his "new technique of strength in sadness" (rayndrop: sorry, I don"t get this part too well *sweat*). Other than this, Rain has been training under the vocal teacher of Michael Jackson since last year in order to strengthen his vocal abilities.

PS: What will his new hairstyle, new fashion, new music and new dance? We are really looking forward to all these, and very enthusiastic about his 4th album. Also, the music and film awards at the end of the year is also keeping us very excited!

2006.7.26 Autumn battles: Rain vs Se7en and others

t is an autumn for guys! RAIN, se7en, Cheng Shijing (pinyin) and other male singers are coming back for their latest album release. Some of them left for 2 years and some just 7 months, so what are they going to present to the fans and audience?

Of course, the most conspicuous battle is between Rain and se7en. (<-- Media always like to compare )

Rain and se7en began their singer life in year 2002 and 2003 respectively, had released three albums at different timings. Yet both of them plan the same release period for their 4th album in this coming October.

Child-like face but sturdy body outfit, Rain & se7en are seen as "pretty boy with perfect figure"... "very attractive".... Together with their gorgeous dancing and similar performance style in live concerts, we believe that they have been preparing a lot for this autumn.

** RAIN"s weapon - DANCE **

In his second album "To avoid the sun", Rain had used sunglasses ingeniously to express the feeling of the song.
Third album "It"s Raining" exhibited a perfect combination of various action styles from Japan and China (tipsy punch), to bring out his own charming characteristics!

In this 4th album, most probably he"ll show new dazzling dance~ (<-- hardworking!!)
Rain started the preparation a year ago and said that he was thinking of new dancing styles. After finishing his movie "I"m Cyborg", he will practise those difficult body actions as well as modern dance. And these practices must be related to his secrety new dance!

In the meantime, vocal trainer of Michael Jackson also trained Rain, so that he can achieve better singing skills~


* Se7en *

Music should be the main focus for se7en. The release of third album in this March gave confident to him, so now se7en is also one of the producers to compose songs and lyrics in his new album.

He tried his first song compo in Hi-Hap style songs "Oh-no!" "&sup1;&atilde;&raquo;&otilde;&micro;&micro;&middot;&Iuml;". He also went to US in June 2006 to cooperate with YG Entertainment music producers. He went to China to attend award ceremony and planned his concert in Korea. After that, he will go to US for 3 months (until Sept 06) to complete his 4th album.

(The rest are other R&B singers... skipped... I even think of skipping se7en"s part in the halfway =.=)

JH performed "It"s Raining" for his first item. These are what he said during the concert:

"I feel as if it has been a year since I"ve stood on a stage. I"ve had a lot of activities lately, to the point I don"t know what I"m doing. In this period of time, I"ve filmed, prepared for my 4th album and single, the Japanese album is in preparation too. Other than that, I"ve also filmed a CF...I"m so busy it seems a little exaggerated.*Smile*

"In the future, if there are such activities, I will want to participate too.

Also, Jihoon called Noel "hyung"s, and the audiences protested with "Ya!"

Jihoon panicked and said, "Look at me, I"m still very young! I"m only 25!"

Then Jihoon revealed his latest programme: "My movie goes on the big screens in November, and my new album comes out in October. I hope all of you will like the result of my two years of hard work."

Finally, Jihoon said, "It"s raining heavily today. Everybody please watch your health. All things aside, I really hope to help those victimised by the flood. I hope to continue helping these people even after that, and I hope everybody can work together to help these victims too.
